I really enjoyed how intimate
things were on the course. The INTESOL Prague
staff was generally very friendly and extremely
helpful with accommodations and transport (e.g,
getting tram passes for all of us!). I loved how
they taught us how to teach in the manner of how
we should teach - in other words, you played games
with us and used the techniques we should model
during our input sessions (very creative!). I
would definitely recommend the course - I got
way more out of it than I had expected.

I initially thought I was
going to a large school, but for the amount of
students (twelve on our course) it was perfect.
The course progressed in a very logical order
and, while difficult at times, was set to build
upon concepts learned throughout the course. I
feel I have improved greatly and it's due to the
instructors - I came not knowing how to teach
and I feel confident I can at least contend with
other teacher-hopefuls. In short, it was a great
experience and I would eat babies to do it all
again. This is probably one of the best decisions
I made in life!

The course I took with INTESOL
Prague was fun and the same time I feel that I
learned a lot. The morning input sessions were
hilarious on so many level as well as helpful
for 'stealing' some techniques and seeing what
works. The instructors would always be there for
us during lesson planning hours and would prompt
us instead of giving answers, which makes you
work harder but you definitely learn more. I would
certainly recommend the course and experience
to anyone interested in teaching English abroad
- it was a lot more than I expected.

The month I spent with INTESOL
Prague was a very useful and enjoyable experience.
I learnt a great deal about English as a foreign
language, about how to teach it effectively, and
about the principles of teaching in general. All
these things will stand me in good stead for a
career in teaching, at home or abroad, and is
a great qualification to have. Doing the course
in Prague was excellent because it is an easy
city to get to know in a short time, there is
lots to do and it is very reasonably priced! My
accommodation was very spacious and ideally located
for school. And I met a lot of great people through
the school making it an all round experience that
I won't forget.

I thoroughly enjoyed both
the intensive TESOL course and the following business
English course. The intensive course is certainly
hard work, however it is very rewarding. The staff
were always friendly and approachable and helped
not just with the course itself but with finding
apartments and future employment as well. You
really feel like you are being taught by the best
throughout the course, as the lessons are interesting,
student centred and fun. I learnt more than I
thought possible in the short space of time that
I had and was able to join this with practical
practice in the classroom teaching Czech students.
This was scary at first but very rewarding it
was nice to build up a rapport with the students
and gain more insight into cultural experiences,
language levels etc. I would definitely recommend
this course to anyone looking to gain a TESOL
certificate. It has been brilliant in every aspect,
the location of the school, the staff, the adjoining
TTA teachers with whom I have made many friends
to the course itself, which has been fully professional
and insightful throughout.

I would highly recommend
the Intesol Prague TEFL course to any prospective
candidates. Deciding on a course is a difficult
decision, and from personal experience it was
not something I was overly informed about going
into the process. Intesol Prague promises a lot
on their website, and I can say with confidence
that they came through with all of it. From the
time I was accepted, the staff, starting with
the student coordinator, went above and beyond
reasonable expectations to make sure that everything
was as smooth and easy for me as possible. This
included promptly answering every question I had
before coming, to picking me up from the airport,
to doing everything they could to ensure adequate
and comfortable accomodations. As for the course,
it is intensive but extremely informative and
hands on. The lead instructor has twelve years
of TEFL experience, and as a teacher trainee that
experience was an invaluable resource. The facilities
are first-rate, and the location could hardly
have been more centralized in Prague. Intesol
shares its location with Threshold Teaching Associates,
one of the largest and most respected language
schools in Prague. The day to day interaction
with the TTA teachers was invaluable for the advice
and experience they had to offer. As for Prague,
I could not recommend a better place for taking
a TEFL course. The city is beyond georgeous, and
the people are warm and eager to both learn and
to be taught.
Kent passed
away shortly after his course.
We feel proud to have known him. His memory lingers
in our hearts.

Intesol Prague was an excellent
experience! Although I had a year of TEFL teaching
experience, I knew I needed more professional
development. I had no idea how or when to explain
complex grammar or how to enter a beginner level
classroom and teach. After Intesol Prague, I feel
well-prepared to enter any TEFL classroom. Vince
has a wealth of experience and knows how to prepare
TEFL teachers. The personal attention and feedback
on student-teaching was invaluable and allowed
me to identify and address my strengths and weaknesses.
Hana, Jitka, Ladya, and the TTA staff have been
friendly, helpful, and thoughtful from the moment
I landed in Prague. The standard accomodation
was wonderfully convenient for the school, and
Hana's booklet on Prague addressed every day needs
from how to purchase gym passes to where to do
laundry. We had numerous meetings on job guidance,
and I was able to arrange an interview with a
school in Prague before the course ended. Hana
even helped me secure a long-term apartment for
my long-term stay in Prague. I must admit that
when I boarded the plane to come to Prague I had
serious reservations, but I could not have asked
for a better experience.

INTESOL Prague is a great
place to become an English teacher. The staff
is very experienced and knowledgeable. They are
extremely helpful and provide a fun atmosphere
for students and trainees. We were given many
good examples through observation and participation;
I think it is good to involve the students instead
of lecturing all the time - they certainly practise
what they preach! The experience I gained through
teaching during the course is something you cannot
get anywhere else. Prague is a beautiful city
and has so many things to offer that there is
never a dull moment. I could not have asked for
a better apartment or location in the city - especially
because it was so close to the school. I recommend
Intesol to anyone who is interested in helping
others achieve their goal at learning English.
It is truly an unforgettable experience.
