Pavel
Bednar – SENIOR TRAINER
After doing a degree in forestry
Pavel went on to study community supportive agriculture
and rural development in England where he then
had a stint as a councellor working with the disabled
in a Camphill Village community. At the same time
he was also involved in an educational initiative
providing an apprentice-type training in organic
agriculture.
Back in the Czech Republic he got a job as an
English teacher and soon established himself as
a sought-after translator and interpreter for
various non-profit organizations. Teaching was
at that time just a means of supporting himself
and his family, but he soon became hooked on EFL.
Over the years Pavel has gained vast experience
ranging from teaching business English to the
banking sector to teaching English through drama
at schools. Pavel has also got a MA in Drama Education
and has been associated with a highly acclaimed
interactive English theatre project run by The
Bear Educational Theatre. Involvement in teacher
training adds another dimension to his career
and provides him with an opportunity to pass on
his enthusiasm and knowledge.
